Role Overview

This is a hands-on business development role focused on identifying prospective clients, connecting with decision-makers, initiating meaningful conversations, and generating qualified meetings for the founding team.

You will own prospecting and initial client engagement, from identifying target companies to understanding their hiring needs and arranging discovery meetings. The founders will support commercial negotiations and final account closure.

The role is suited to someone who is proactive, commercially minded, organised, and comfortable initiating conversations with senior professionals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Target Account Research

  • Identify organisations with potential recruitment and talent acquisition needs.

  • Build and maintain targeted prospect lists across relevant industries.

  • Research companies, their hiring activity, and relevant decision-makers, including HR Heads, Talent Acquisition Leaders, and business leaders.

2. Prospecting and Outreach

  • Initiate personalised outreach through LinkedIn, email, telephone, and other relevant channels.

  • Develop effective outreach messages and follow-up sequences.

  • Establish contact with prospective clients and generate interest in Cryzdal’s recruitment services.

3. Discovery and Qualification

  • Conduct initial conversations to understand the organisation’s hiring plans, recruitment challenges, and potential requirements.

  • Assess whether prospects are suitable for Cryzdal based on hiring needs, role relevance, and potential for a productive business relationship.

  • Schedule qualified discovery meetings with the founders.

4. Pipeline Management

  • Maintain accurate records of prospects, conversations, follow-ups, meetings, and opportunities in the designated CRM or tracking system.

  • Ensure timely follow-ups and prevent promising prospects from being lost due to poor coordination.

  • Share regular updates on pipeline progress, conversion rates, and upcoming priorities.

5. Collaboration and Business Growth

  • Work closely with the founders to refine target segments, outreach strategies, and messaging.

  • Provide relevant background and discovery notes before transferring qualified opportunities to the founders.

  • Support continued engagement with prospects until the opportunity is ready for commercial discussion.

What We Are Looking For

  • 2–5 years of experience in business development, inside sales, B2B sales, lead generation, or client acquisition.

  • Experience in recruitment, staffing, executive search, HR services, or another B2B services business will be preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to research companies and identify relevant decision-makers.

  • Confidence in initiating conversations with senior professionals.

  • Good follow-up discipline and the ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously.

  • A structured, data-driven approach to prospecting and pipeline management.

  • Comfort working in a small, growing business where initiative and ownership matter.
