We are hiring an Engagement Manager for a growing decision-intelligence and analytics business serving environmental services, infrastructure, and investment markets.
The role combines strategy consulting, commercial analytics, M&A research, and client leadership. You will own a dedicated market vertical, lead a small analytics team, and work with senior international clients to turn complex market information into actionable business recommendations.
Key responsibilities
Own the strategy and analytical agenda for a dedicated market vertical.
Structure ambiguous business problems into clear analytical workstreams.
Lead market sizing, competitive intelligence, market mapping, and opportunity identification.
Screen acquisition targets and support M&A, commercial diligence, and value-creation analysis.
Work with large, complex, and incomplete datasets to develop decision-ready insights.
Conduct primary research through expert interviews, market-participant calls, regulatory research, and structured desk research.
Build compelling executive presentations and present findings to senior international stakeholders.
Lead a small analytics team, ensuring quality, timelines, and delivery standards.
Translate analysis into practical recommendations that influence growth, investment, and operating decisions.
Requirements
6+ years of experience in strategy consulting, commercial consulting, deal advisory, M&A, or a related analytical role.
Demonstrated ownership of analytically demanding engagements from problem definition through final recommendation.
Strong experience in market sizing, structured problem-solving, commercial analysis, or acquisition screening.
Proficiency in Excel and structured analytical modeling; SQL or comparable data-analysis experience is valuable.
Strong written and verbal communication, including executive-level presentations.
Experience conducting primary research and working with incomplete or hard-to-find information.
Exposure to environmental services, waste management, infrastructure, industrials, or adjacent sectors is preferred.
Ability to work independently in a high-ownership environment with international stakeholders.
