We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented EV Battery Warranty Engineer to join our team. The role involves investigating and resolving warranty claims related to EV batteries. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise in EV battery systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Warranty Analysis & Processing:
Evaluate and process warranty claims related to EV battery systems in alignment with policies.
Perform root cause analysis for returned or defective batteries.
Document findings and share technical insights with quality and production teams.
Technical Support:
Assist customers with troubleshooting and resolving battery performance issues.
Provide on-site or remote support to ensure customer satisfaction.
Failure Analysis:
Conduct detailed analysis of defective or returned batteries to identify trends or systemic issues.
Ensure proper testing procedures and adherence to safety standards during analysis.
Data Collection & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of warranty claims, analysis, and corrective actions.
Create detailed reports for internal use.
Monitor warranty claim trends and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications:
Education:
B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
2+ years of experience in EV battery systems, warranty engineering, or quality assurance.
Hands-on experience with lithium-ion batteries, battery management systems (BMS), and related technologies.
Skills:
Proficiency in testing equipment and software related to EV batteries.
Familiarity with safety standards and regulations for battery systems (e.g., AIS 156).
