About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Software Deployment and Support Manager to join our client’s India operations. The role involves managing the end-to-end deployment of advanced grid monitoring and analytics software for power utilities and ensuring smooth ongoing support and maintenance. This is a leadership position with opportunities for growth and global exposure.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee full deployment lifecycle, including planning, coordination, and execution of software implementations.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and client teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Manage integration, installation, testing, and validation processes at customer sites.
Lead and supervise a small team (1–2 members initially) with scope for future team expansion.
Monitor and maintain ongoing support operations, ensuring adherence to SLAs.
Identify risks during deployments, propose mitigation strategies, and escalate as required.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of deployment activities and processes.
Continuously enhance deployment and support processes for efficiency and scalability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in software deployment, project management, or support.
Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
Proficiency in English (oral and written).
Familiarity with IT systems and hardware; experience with MS Projects and Azure DevOps is an advantage.
Prior exposure to Quality Assurance is preferred but not mandatory.
Willingness to travel within India and internationally (Middle East, Australia, Taiwan) as project needs arise.
