Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Purchase Manager to oversee and optimize our purchasing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement within the Cosmetics Industry and a proven track record of managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize costs and improve efficiency.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating contracts and establishing relationships to ensure the best pricing and quality.
Collaborate with the production and quality assurance teams to forecast material requirements and manage inventory levels.
Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Analyze market trends and make recommendations for improvements in procurement practices.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
Manage and lead a team of procurement specialists, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in purchasing or procurement in the cosmetics sector.
Strong negotiation skills and experience in supplier relationship management.
Proficient in inventory management and procurement software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
