About the role
The Senior Specialist – Journey Orchestration is responsible for designing, building, testing, and deploying automated customer journeys and multi-channel marketing campaigns using Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and Adobe Marketo Engage. Working closely with Marketing, Marketing Operations, Business Intelligence, Creative, and Digital Experience teams, this role ensures campaigns are accurately executed, personalized, compliant, and optimized to deliver exceptional customer experiences across both B2B and B2C audiences.
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on expertise in marketing automation platforms, campaign execution, audience segmentation, email development, and quality assurance. They are highly detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about delivering seamless customer journeys that drive engagement and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Build, test, and deploy automated customer journeys and multi-channel marketing campaigns using Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and Adobe Marketo Engage.
Translate campaign briefs, audience segmentation, and business requirements into scalable automated workflows.
Execute end-to-end email builds, including layout, dynamic content, personalization, and responsive design.
Perform comprehensive QA testing across audience logic, journey flows, email rendering, links, dynamic content, and automation rules before deployment.
Validate campaign data, audience segmentation, UTMs, and tracking in collaboration with Business Intelligence and Marketing Operations teams.
Coordinate with Creative and Content teams to ensure all marketing assets meet campaign requirements and brand standards.
Configure dynamic content and personalization based on customer behavior, preferences, and engagement signals.
Ensure compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CCPA, consent management, and internal governance policies.
Monitor campaign performance and provide recommendations to improve engagement, conversion, and customer experience.
Maintain documentation for campaign logic, testing processes, automation workflows, and governance standards.
Develop reusable templates, workflow libraries, and campaign assets to improve efficiency and consistency.
Stay up to date with Adobe Experience Cloud enhancements, marketing automation trends, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline.
5+ years of experience in marketing automation, customer journey orchestration, or digital campaign execution.
Hands-on experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), Adobe Marketo Engage, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar enterprise marketing automation platforms.
Experience building complex customer journeys using audience segmentation, dynamic content, and personalization.
Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email development and troubleshooting is preferred.
Adobe Journey Optimizer or Adobe Experience Cloud certifications are an added advantage.
