We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Malaysian Bookkeeping Executive with a minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, preferably within a remote work environment. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, has excellent analytical skills, and thrives in a work-from-home setup.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Process invoices, payments, and expenses with accuracy and in a timely manner.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure all discrepancies are resolved.
Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in budget tracking.
Manage payroll and ensure timely tax and compliance filings.
Support the preparation of financial statements and assist with audits.
Identify and implement improvements to streamline accounting processes.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting in Malaysian Accounting.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel. Familiarity with Malaysian tax regulations is a plus.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to accuracy and detail in managing financial records.
