We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Malaysian Bookkeeping Executive with a minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, preferably within a remote work environment. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, has excellent analytical skills, and thrives in a work-from-home setup.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

  • Process invoices, payments, and expenses with accuracy and in a timely manner.

  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure all discrepancies are resolved.

  • Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in budget tracking.

  • Manage payroll and ensure timely tax and compliance filings.

  • Support the preparation of financial statements and assist with audits.

  • Identify and implement improvements to streamline accounting processes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting in Malaysian Accounting.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel. Familiarity with Malaysian tax regulations is a plus.

  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to accuracy and detail in managing financial records.
