Position Overview:
A rapidly growing leader in the lithium-ion battery manufacturing industry is seeking an experienced Process Engineering professional to join its dynamic team in Bawal, Haryana (India). This organization is renowned for its cutting-edge technology and strong presence across multiple verticals including smartphone batteries, power banks, micro-electric vehicle batteries, and printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA).
Important Note: This is an international opportunity for professionals currently based in Taiwan, Malaysia, or Vietnam who are open to relocating to India. Full relocation support, including visa assistance, accommodation, meals, and travel, will be provided.
Job Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or above (any discipline)
Experience: Minimum 4+ years in process engineering or a similar role
Language Proficiency: English and Chinese (both required)
Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee all aspects of process development including PFD, PFMEA, Control Plan, SOP
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CFT) on APQP planning and execution
Lead initiatives involving KAIZEN and POKA YOKE implementation
Handle process change management and optimization
Conduct initial process qualification and validation using DOE, SPC, and MSA
Drive continuous process improvements within the plant
Supervise new line installation, commissioning, and smooth handover to production
Ensure timely execution of new projects, from prototype builds to mass production
Monitor and document critical process parameters
Promote lean manufacturing and best practices
Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving using tools like 8D and CAPA
Prepare handover and performance reports during project ramp-up
Address and close audit findings from internal/external evaluations
Key Skills:
Familiarity with 7 QC tools, CAPA, 8D, and Why-Why analysis
Working knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific audits
Strong understanding of machine processes and tooling
Deep knowledge of FMEA, MSA, PPAP, APQP, Control Plans, and Control Charts
Experience with 5S, TPM, and downtime reduction initiatives
