Role Overview: We are seeking a mid-level Amazon & Walmart Ads Specialist with hands-on experience in digital retail media to lead our performance marketing efforts across both platforms. This role is ideal for someone who is results-driven, analytical, and ready to take ownership of advertising strategy, execution, and team coordination.


The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Amazon Ads (Sponsored Products, Brands,

Display) and experience managing Walmart Connect campaigns, with a clear understanding of the e-commerce landscape and performance optimization techniques. As a team lead, you will play a key role in guiding campaign strategy, overseeing day-to-day execution, and mentoring junior team members.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage paid advertising strategies across Amazon (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display) and Walmart Connect.

  • Optimize campaign performance to improve sales, increase brand visibility, and ensure a strong return on ad spend (ROAS).

  • Conduct in-depth keyword research and targeting refinement for both platforms.

  • Manage daily/weekly budgets, bids, placements, and overall ad account performance.

  • Lead A/B testing initiatives to improve creative effectiveness and targeting.

  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign KPIs, delivering actionable insights to stakeholders.

  • Stay current with Amazon Ads and Walmart Connect platform updates, tools, and trends.

  • Mentor and support junior team members, ensuring high-quality execution and learning.

  • Collaborate with the marketing and e-commerce teams to align paid media efforts with broader business goals.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2–4 years of experience managing Amazon ad campaigns; experience with Walmart Connect campaigns is required.

  • Proven track record of optimizing ad performance and driving revenue growth through paid campaigns.

  • Strong knowledge of keyword research, bid strategies, and performance optimization techniques.

  • Proficiency with Amazon Ads Console, Walmart Connect Dashboard, and third-party tools.

  • Analytical thinker with the ability to extract insights from data and translate them into campaign improvements.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills for reporting and stakeholder updates.

  • Experience in mentoring junior team members or managing a small team.


Preferred (Nice to Have):

  • Certification in Amazon Advertising and/or Walmart Connect.

  • Familiarity with Amazon Marketing Cloud, Attribution, and Retail Analytics.

  • Understanding of SEO best practices for product listings.

  • Experience with other ad platforms like Meta Ads, Google Ads, or TikTok Ads.

  • Background in consumer goods, lifestyle, or fragrance/electronics industries is a plus.
