Job Qualification:
Education Level: BTech/ Engg. diploma + PDIS from RLI/ MSBTE/ State Technical Board or Any Science Graduate + PGD-HSE from recognized University
Experience: 4+ years
Language Skill: Good command of both written and spoken English
Computer Skill: Proficient in MS Office
Other Knowledge and Skills: Analytical and problem-solving skills
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, and environment regulations, standards (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001), and permits, and responsible for the renewal of necessary permits and licenses.
Identify potential hazards, assess risks, and develop risk mitigation strategies to prevent accidents, injuries, and environmental incidents.
Implement comprehensive safety programs and initiatives, including DOJO/GEMBA training, awareness campaigns, incident investigation protocols, and emergency response plans.
Monitor & Implement occupational health programs, health screenings to promote the well-being of employees.
Manage environmental programs to minimize the plant’s environmental impact, including waste management, emissions control & other statutory requirements.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify safety, health, and environmental deficiencies, and develop action plans to address gaps and ensure continuous improvement.
Deliver Training programs to increase employee awareness and competence in safety, health, and environmental matters.
Prepare and submit required EHS reports, maintain accurate records and EHS performance metrics.
Ensure permit to work- operational Controls.
Organize emergency mock drills & improvement action plans.
Key Skills:
Knowledge of environment, health & safety regulations.
Knowledge of Emergency response planning.
Exposure to ISO 14001/ ISO 45001 Management systems.
