We are seeking an ambitious, self-driven, and energetic Business Development Manager to drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients in the public sector and government domains. The role involves responding to RFPs, tenders, and developing sales with new prospective clients, including government establishments, ministries, and state governments. The goal is to meet revenue targets and build a robust pipeline for future growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute growth strategies focused on the public sector and government clients, emphasizing financial gain and customer satisfaction.

  • Conduct research to identify new accounts within central and state government entities, understanding their HR and leadership needs.

  • Increase the value of current customers while attracting new ones.

  • Contribute to prospect identification, proposal writing, opportunity identification, pitch preparation, and client presentations.

  • Maintain records of sales, revenue, invoices, and collections. Create reports and dashboards for sales cycle metrics.

  • Develop expertise in company products, services, and offerings to effectively pitch to clients.

  • Provide after-sales support and build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.

  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events to network and promote the company.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven working experience in sales, business development, or a relevant role in the public sector.

  • Established network and relationships with HR, marketing, and leadership positions within government establishments.

  • Strong market knowledge of public sector structures, hierarchy, and protocols.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate and build rapport.

  • Ability to manage complex projects and multitask effectively.

  • Proactive and capable of working with minimal guidance, handling uncertainty confidently.

  • Strong closing skills, motivation for sales, and prospecting abilities.

  • Effective sales planning and ability to sell to customer needs.

  • Strong presentation skills and professionalism.
