Job Description:
A dynamic market research startup seeking a highly motivated Data Processing Specialist with 1-3 years of experience in scripting and data tabulation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various scripting and data processing platforms, along with practical knowledge of SPSS, PowerBI, data cleaning, and quality checks. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle multiple tasks and work collaboratively within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Questionnaire Scripting: Transform survey questionnaires into executable scripts for data collection, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
Data Cleaning: Implement logical procedures to clean and validate data, removing inconsistencies and errors to maintain data integrity.
Data Tabulation: Perform data tabulation using Excel and SPSS, generating comprehensive tables and reports that summarize the collected data.
Collaboration: Liaise with the research team to understand project requirements and ensure that the data processing outputs meet the expected outcomes.
Quality Checks: Conduct thorough quality checks on data sets to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Ad-Hoc Support: Provide support on various ad-hoc research tasks and projects as needed, contributing to the overall success of the team.
Required Skills and Experience:
1-3 years of experience in scripting and data processing.
Proficiency in scripting languages and data processing platforms.
Working knowledge of SPSS for statistical analysis and data management.
Experience with PowerBI for data visualization and reporting.
Strong skills in data cleaning and applying logical checks.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with the research team and other stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Market Research, or a related field.
Experience in a market research environment.
