Job Description:

A dynamic market research startup seeking a highly motivated Data Processing Specialist with 1-3 years of experience in scripting and data tabulation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various scripting and data processing platforms, along with practical knowledge of SPSS, PowerBI, data cleaning, and quality checks. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle multiple tasks and work collaboratively within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Questionnaire Scripting: Transform survey questionnaires into executable scripts for data collection, ensuring accuracy and reliability.

  • Data Cleaning: Implement logical procedures to clean and validate data, removing inconsistencies and errors to maintain data integrity.

  • Data Tabulation: Perform data tabulation using Excel and SPSS, generating comprehensive tables and reports that summarize the collected data.

  • Collaboration: Liaise with the research team to understand project requirements and ensure that the data processing outputs meet the expected outcomes.

  • Quality Checks: Conduct thorough quality checks on data sets to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Ad-Hoc Support: Provide support on various ad-hoc research tasks and projects as needed, contributing to the overall success of the team.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in scripting and data processing.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages and data processing platforms.

  • Working knowledge of SPSS for statistical analysis and data management.

  • Experience with PowerBI for data visualization and reporting.

  • Strong skills in data cleaning and applying logical checks.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with the research team and other stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Market Research, or a related field.

  • Experience in a market research environment.

  • Familiarity with additional data processing and analysis tools.
